After the accident i had to have surgery on my kneck,and back,on top of having a rare blood disease i have a bone disease as well.On ssi i can't afford to fix or even get a new car so i can get to the docters.

Mechanism of Action of Prothrombin Gene Mutation: Prothrombin is the precursor to thrombin in the coagulation cascade (see the above diagram). Thrombin is required in order to convert fibrinogen into fibrin, which is the primary goal of the coagulation cascade. The gene has a mutation at position 20210, hence the disorder being referred to as prothrombin mutation 20210. The mutation leads to an increased amount of thrombin circulating in the person's blood stream. The exact mechanism by which the prothrombin gene mutation results in a thrombophilic state is unclear. It is thought that the increased amount of circulating prothrombin provides a springboard upon which the clotting cascade can get started and that, in some circumstances, it may run out of control because of that springboard potential

my son has had problems and is being tested for the gene that causes the blood disease,here he just had his appendex taken out,when he was younger he had a rare pupera which is also a blood disease.

im disabled w a rare blood disease,im on oxygen and blood thinners 4 the rest of my life,my car was vandalized by theives and drug addicts 4 times before i finally moved away,i have to crawl over the passenger seat w my oxygen to get out and i have to have my blood checked all the time,they messed up my air conditioner too and its real hot,maken it hard on me....im on a budget on ssi and cant afford to fix my car someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
